SolarFast offer a turn-key solution to Solar Farm project in any location

Our service includes the design, supply and installation of both foundations & structure, together with the supply of Solar PV panels. SolarFast also design, supply, and install foundations & structure for CSP farms. Alternatively, the design, the solar mounting structure or foundation installation can be provided individually to complete your project.
SolarFast are competitively priced and deliver quick turn-around times, with foundation installation speeds of up to 1 pile every 2 minutes. Delivery of 10MW takes just 4 weeks supply only or 6 weeks installed.
Our geotechnical and structural engineers will specify an appropriate site investigation for the site area (refer to document site investigation requirements for solar projects) and are able to provide appropriate foundations designed to BS EN 1997. All ground types are catered for from one end of the spectrum to the other; silty materials with little or no cohesion to shallow hard rock conditions (like limestone) and in aggressive or flood risk areas. A pile testing service can also be offered depending on project requirements.
Our structural engineers derive dead and imposed loadings from BS EN 1991 and design steel and concrete structures to BS EN 1993 and BS EN 1992. The strong, lightweight solar panel portal or central support structures are generally made from thin gauge cold formed steel sections with a suitable protection system guaranteed for the life of the project. Our ISO 9001 quality management system ensures all materials are traceable and fully certified.
Our technical department operate and maintain a fleet of lightweight specialist piling rigs each capable of installing over 100 driven piles per day. Our knowledgeable and experienced site team will either construct and erect the foundations and solar mounting structures, or provide onsite supervision to the construction process.
Our dedicated project supply management team co-ordinate each project to ensure all materials are delivered to site on time to meet the project construction and connection programme.
