Solar Fast is a trading style of Gas Fast Ltd, a private limited company registered with Companies House (Company Number 05784955).

For over 20 years Gas Fast have been the North’s leading experts in energy provision. We pride ourselves in offering exceptional customer service and helping our clients save money.


When we collect information

Solar Fast may collect information about you:

  • When you visit, use, or register with our website, for example, when you contact us about products and services or subscribe to a newsletter/marketing information

  • When you contact us directly via social media or through our Sales, Marketing, and Customer Services departments

  • From authorised Gas Fast Ltd. dealers or sales agents

What type of information is collected from you?

The personal information we collect might include your name, home address, email address, contact telephone number, IP address, and information regarding what site pages are accessed and when.


How we may contact you

Solar Fast may contact you in a number of ways, including by email, text message, post, or telephone.

In addition to our sales, customer service, and marketing teams, we may also use AI-powered booking assistants to contact you about your enquiry. Where this is the case:

  • You will always be informed at the start of a call if you are speaking with an AI assistant

  • You can request to speak to a human at any time, and your call will be transferred or ended

  • You may opt out of AI contact completely by telling us during a call or by emailing marketing@solarfast.co.uk. Once opted out, your record will be flagged in our CRM to prevent future AI contact

  • AI assistants are used only for enquiry follow-up and booking consultations. They will not discuss pricing, finance, or handle complaints


How is your information used?

Your personal information will enable us to provide you with access to all parts of our site and will be used for several purposes, including:

  • Administering our business activities

  • Personalising your experience on our website

  • Keeping you up to date with our products and services

  • Contacting you about a query/form you have submitted

  • Processing customer requests that you have submitted (e.g. aftersales request)

  • Processing orders you have submitted

  • Contacting you if you were to win one of our competitions

  • Call recordings: up to 90 days for training, quality monitoring, and dispute resolution

  • Call summaries and outcomes: up to 6 years to align with contractual and legal limitation periods

  • Suppression flags (opt-outs): kept indefinitely to ensure we do not contact you in ways you have declined

After these periods, personal data is securely deleted or anonymised.


How can you access or update your information?

You also have the right to request a copy of the personal information Solar Fast holds about you. Requests will be processed within 30 days.
